Single-service permanent phone numbers are meant for unlimited use on a single, specific service for an unlimited period of time.
With an active rental, these numbers can be used as many times as you like for the same service, and they can be used indefinitely.
When to use: Single-service permanent numbers are best for when you’re planning a lot of activity on one verification service. If you think you’ll need to verify an account and access it regularly through multi-factor authentication, then this is a good option for you.

With an active rental, there is no limit to the number of services you can access through a single multi-purpose permanent line.
You can even use it to receive messages from services not listed on our site.
When to use: Multi-purpose permanent numbers are the best option for verifying multiple accounts through a single phone number on an ongoing basis. You can easily access as many services as you like through the same permanent rental line. You can keep each rental number as long as you’d like, making this our most flexible and versatile rental option.

All add-on features are available on multi-purpose permanent number rentals. Some add-ons are also available on single-service lines and are noted below.

For temporary rentals, every purchase will start a new one-week or two-week cycle (depending on your choice) on that specific rental phone number line.
For permanent rentals, there are two options:
- You can choose to add your new purchase to your existing 30 day subscription cycle, or
- You can choose to create a new subscription for your new purchase, which will then give you a full 30 days of access to the services you just purchased.
Users can hold an unlimited number of permanent subscriptions (sets of rentals). It’s easy to distinguish between multiple subscriptions by giving each subscription a “nickname.” You can also designate which of your subscriptions is your primary subscription.

By default, all permanent rentals will auto-renew as long as you have enough money in your account on your "Subscription Renewal Date". Temporary rentals do not renew and only last for the time period selected upon purchase.
This is easy to change if you prefer to only renew some or none of your rentals.
If a renewal option has expired, but you need that specific number back, contact our tech support team. As long as the number is still available in our system, we should be able to get it back for you.
